- תֵּרְקַבm. (= תרי קב) (two Kabs; later) three Kabs, a dry measure (V. Herzfeld, Metrol. Voruntersuch. II, p. 63 sq.); also a field requiring a Tarḳab of seed. Tosef.Maasr.II, 7 בינונית אינה פחותה מת׳וכ׳ a medium size basket is no less than a Tarḳab, a small one no less than two Kabs; (differ. in Y. ib. II, 49c bot.). Tam.V, 4 והכף דומה לת׳ גדולוכ׳ the spoon (for frankincense) resembled a large Tarḳab …, containing three Kabs.
